Our origin

System Maplefield began when two former bank operations clerks in Seoul noticed a gap among colleagues who used hardware wallets: the devices were secure, but the paper trails were not. Allocation notes lived in three notebooks, spreadsheet tabs, and margin scribbles on index cards.

In 2019 we opened a small office in Jongno-gu dedicated to bound ledgers, reconciliation sessions, and labelling audits — work that requires patience, handwriting, and a respect for what clients choose not to digitise.

What we believe

A paper ledger beside a hardware wallet is not nostalgia. It is a readable record for you, your family, and anyone you authorise to understand your allocation structure without touching your keys.

We work only with information clients bring. We do not hold custody, do not connect to wallets, and do not offer investment guidance.

Working with clients

Most clients visit quarterly. Some come only after major transfers between cold and warm storage. We keep a numbered archive of reconciliation sheets so your next session starts where the last one ended.
